He graduated in Law from University of Sao Paulo in 1993, holding also a Master’s Degree (1999) and Doctorate in Law (2003) from that same university. A career diplomat since 2005. Along his career within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, he worked in Brasilia at the Department of International Organizations (2006-09); Division of South American Affairs (2015); Office of the Legal Counsellor (2015-2022); and Secretariat for Brazilian Communities Abroad, Consular and Legal Affairs (2023-2025).

On February 15, 2023 defended thesis for the degree of PhD in politology in the specialty 5.5.4 "International Relations, Global and Regional Studies" at the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences
(IMEMO RAN).

Since February 3, 2025 write dissertation for the degree of Doctor of politology in the specialty 5.5.4 "International Relations, global and regional studies" on the topic "The current state and prospects of non-strategic nuclear arms control in the Euro-Atlantic in the 21st century" at the doctoral program of the Institute of the United States of America and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISKRAN).

In March 2019 was awarded the "Certificate of the Laureate of the analytical work competition "The Future of Pan-European Security. Global Dimensions", conducted jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Gorchakov Foundation for Public Diplomacy and the PIR Center. In April of the same year completed educational course at the International School of Global Security at the PIR Center in Zvenigorod, Moscow region, and has got a corresponding "Certificate".

In different years has worked as the written translator from English into Russian at the South Korean Embassy in Moscow and also as the university teacher of history, politology and some other subjects at different universities in Moscow and Moscow region.
